My Projects
Jake's Music Blog is a fully automated analytic web app that tracks the music that I listen to. It was made with a framework called dash which allows for interactive web based dashboards written in python. An ETL process runs daily to gather the data and upload it to a database. The tool also features a webscraper that gathers information from wikipedia about my artists.
Birthday Bot is a webscraper that scrapes facebook for your friends birthdays. After the initial run of the program, it is scheduled to update new friends daily and post a happy birthday message on their wall if it is their birthday.
